Our Event Experience

Gymnastics Event Experience

Catleaps Gymnastics has been involved in running gymnastics competitions and events for over twelve years.

Staff have volunteered or worked at the World Championships at the 02 in London in 2009, London Olympics 2012, Men’s London Open International Event annually since 2007, London Gymnastics for All Competitions for 10 years and our Club Competitions.

We believe that each event should be like an ‘Olympics’ for the competitor, and the atmosphere should be professional but also warm and inviting.

Our experience working on many events means that we can take the best of all the competitions and produce an experience that is positive for gymnasts, coaches, judges, event staff and spectators.

We want to ensure that all competitors leave the event feeling confident about their progress.

Suitable for all Abilities

Progressive Competition Programme

Our Gymnastics for All (GfA) competition programme is for boys and girls of all abilities.

We have built a programme that is progressive and allows the gymnasts to challenge themselves whilst achieving at nine different stages.

The first 4 stages are set routines with 8 moves and a vault, each gymnast is competing individually and is assessed against benchmark scores on each piece.

Competition Judges

Judges are an integral part of any gymnastics event but can appear ‘scary’ to gymnasts.

So at our events we ask judges to wear smart casual bright colours and come out from behind the table to talk to the gymnasts before they warm up.

Our judges let the gymnasts know what they want to see (stuck landings, smiling faces, straight legs etc.) and we encourage judges to speak to gymnasts to break down the barriers.
